At Kinderberry Hill we believe children learn best through discovery and creative exploration. Our teachers incorporate age-appropriate concepts in all aspects of learning and play. Our small group sizes, low child-to-teacher ratios, and enriched learning centers help children experience the joy and excitement of learning while developing an appreciation for their individuality in a healthy, safe, and challenging child care environment.
We acknowledge the family as a childs primary source of love and care and strive to assist parents in nurturing the child as an individual, as a family member, and as a member of society.
Our goal is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment with well-rounded developmental programs that are appropriate to each childs intellectual, emotional, and social needs. This includes home-base classrooms, enriched learning centers, large indoor playrooms, and outdoor playgrounds, each furnished with materials designed to promote physical, cognitive, and emotional growth.
Through positive interactions with their teachers, children develop trusting and caring relationships. Each childs unique developmental timeframe is respected. Our teachers act as learning facilitators, helping the children actively guide their own progress. Children choose the level and pace of learning, thereby becoming the pilots of their own educational program.
