Intercommunal Survival School, a non-profit child development center was founded in 1972 and has provided quality care and education to children from low and moderate income families. We welcome parents and families from all ethnic backgrounds and encourage children to explore, challenge and experience.
The children from Survival School are from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds. They are from 2.5 to 5 years old. Most are learning English as their second language. The classes are divided into 3 groups: The Deer (younger Preschoolers), the Owls Preschool and the Blue jays (pre-kindergarten).
