The Childrens Place

Our continued goal is to provide our children with quality Preschool experiences. The curriculum is carefully planned by teachers to be developmentally appropriate with the understanding that through play, children build the foundation and necessary skills for further education. Activities include art, dramatic play, music and movement, science, story time, group activity time, creative outdoor play, Spanish language immersion, cooking and naptime. The children also enjoy weekly walks within the neighborhood. They visit the park, explore the beach, visit the local fire station, library and visit the stores on Main Street. We are committed to creating an environment where each child is encouraged to express their feelings non-violently and enhance self esteem through the exploration of their interest and ideas. We have found that our children enter the community with skill, self confidence and respect for themselves and others.
