Our experts designed our classrooms – and every activity and lesson – to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and child-initiated discovery.

You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills.

Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!

Welcome to our KinderCare family at the Wise Road location. We are thrilled that you have joined our school and entrust us to provide the utmost care and education for your child to grow into wonderful young people. We encourage you to let us know how we can best assist you with your needs. We are always available to meet with you and even have conferences in late Fall and late Spring to let you know how your child is developing in our program. We love getting feedback to help us grow together.

Our faculty are dedicated and passionate about education and caring for children. They encourage self help skills, manners, etiquette, education, reading, handwriting, science, dramatic play, math and more, all in a safe, fun and educational experience. Our curriculum is specifically geared from Infancy through School Age groups. Each one is developmentally appropriate but yet allows each child to grow beyond their expectations. We provide an educational curriculum to meet the needs of each child and age group and prepare them for school and beyond. We teach them life skills through our daily routines and play.

“Play” is the time each child needs to expand their minds, grow their skills and explore their world. Play is essential to learning. Our approach to teaching through positive reinforcement and redirection. We want to let children know what we “want” from them rather than reminding them of all the “no’s” in the world. Children thrive with positive reinforcement and want to learn more then.

Our school has been NAC Accredited since July 2016. The National Accreditation Commission (NAC) for Early Care and Education Program offers early childhood leaders the opportunity to demonstrate and document quality performance using research-based criteria and evidence-based practices. The National Accreditation Commission provides a comprehensive, ongoing quality improvement system that recognizes the inherent diversity among programs through the self-study and award process.

Our school also received the Gold Circle of Quality from ExeleRate Illinois administered through INCRAA in March 2017.

We service to several local Elementary Schools near our school location for Before and After care as well as care for days off of school which allows time for Kindergarten through 6th grade children to get homework done, relax and expend their energies on the playground as well as participate in our newly revamp School Age Curriculum.

We also offer a fun and exciting Summer Curriculum that allows our School-Age children to go on field trips and our younger children to have in-house field experience with special guests along with creative exploration with our Summer Camp Themes and Water Play Days. Education and learning never stops.

Our faculty participates in 100 Days of on boarding training when first hired and a minimum of 20 hours of Professional Development training annually through Gateway approved trainings, KinderCare Professional Development Days and other programs to continue their own personal, educational success and further their educational horizons. We require all of our faculty to be CPR and First Aid trained within 6 months of hire and maintain their certification ongoing. All of our faculty also are required to have their Food Handler Certification to work in our facility. On going training is essential for our faculty to remain on the top of the educational pendulum and provide the care that each of our families expect.

Again, thank you for joining our KinderCare family.
