Interlaken Preschool does not adhere to one specific curriculum. We use ideas from a variety of teaching styles including; emergent curriculum, reggio emilia, montesori and play based curriculums.

In 2011, we adopted a curriculum called Beyond Center’s and Circle Time, which is a research based curriculum developed and put into practice in Florida. This curriculum provides a way of assessing and documenting the child’s development through play.

Your child will have a learning portfolio that shows their development in the following areas; sensorimotor and dramatic play development, stages of bead stringing and patterning development, stages of pre-scissor and cutting development, stages of structured construction products, stages of easel products, stages of marker/crayon products and stages of writing development.
