The Creative Curriculum by Diane Trister Dodge is the curriculum we use to help us integrate the center-based classroom and the teachers role in this environment. It is developmentally based focusing on the individual childs social emotional and intellectual needs. The research of this curriculum is based on the National Association for the Education of Young Children NAEYC. We also use supplemental curriculums that are Christian based as well as Doors to Discovery which is a literacy rich curriculum geared for four year olds preparing for Kindergarten .

Our professional staff encourages exploration and growth in a well-equipped environment that is stimulating safe consistent and nurturing. We strive to enhance each childs natural curiosity and love of learning. Good Shepherd ECEC provides opportunities for a child to master tasks that are appropriate to his individual level of development.
We are committed to working closely with parents toward the welfare of the whole family. Parents are welcome to visit the school at any time both prior to enrolling their child and during the childs time at school always keeping in mind class continuity .
