We use two different curricular frameworks at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Preschool. For the three year old class we use the High/Scope Curriculum. This is a long-standing body of work which actually began as a research institute and so is the undergirded by about 40 years of research support. Key developmental indicators in every developmental domain can be referenced at the High/Scope home page.

For the one and two year old classes we use the Creative Curriculum for Infants Toddlers and Twos by Teaching Strategies Inc. also a well respected curriculum for this age range. Their learning goals are arranged in four areas
1. To learn about self and others (social emotional development)
2. To learn about moving (physical development)
3. To learn about the world (cognitive development)
4. To learn about communicating (language development)
