My tutoring methods are simple. For the first session I like to give a small assessment that encompasses Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry to see what the student may or may not know. From there we figure out a starting point, usually where your child is in school. Ideally 2 sessions a week works best, the first session would be content knowledge by hand, along with any help for upcoming quizzes and tests. The second session is calculator work if they are allowed to use them in class.
