The homework she gives me always helps me understand the concepts of the material, and the way she asks me to do them (such as grids and comparison charts) act as good references when facing more complex ideas, as I can refer back to them. No matter what the subject is, she is always able to give great analogies or real world examples that allow me to conceptualize the specifics of a topic. I also love the fact she will engage in my tangential questions and provide me with background information about the material, as long as it does not stray too far from what we are focusing on. I can confidently say Tina has been the most helpful tutor I have ever had, and may even go as far to say that she is the best teacher I have had the pleasure of learning from.
