A recent recipient of a Master?s degree from UCLA?s Herb Alpert School of Music, Eriko began studying violin at the age of 6. By the age of twelve, she had already received third prize in a national competition in her native Japan. During her B.A. studies in violin performance, she was the first violinist of her school string quartet that traveled and performed all over Japan.
