Catherine J. from Oakland, CA Mikka was fantastic in all respects. First, she was immediately responsive to my request for help and responded to my email within a few minutes after I sent my request to her. In fact, her first email was loaded with great ideas. Second, she arrived completely prepared, having reviewed all the course materials related to my son's English assignment, which included an art project. I was so impressed with how she helped my son move his story line and ideas forward while being certain that he did the work himself and that the project reflected his vision, not hers. Mikka provided a true learning experience and she did so under a tight deadline. She even made the effort of bringing art supplies, knowing that neither my son nor I had any idea about what type of supplies to buy. (Of course, I reimbursed her for the supplies). Amazingly, the project was well underway in only two hours at which point my son was able to execute the rest of the project on his own. Mikka saved many hours of frustration and stress by bringing her art instruction skills and ability to completely understand the associated written portion of the assignment to the project. In sum, she was absolutely exemplary.
