Mary P. from Granada Hills, CA Karen is organized, very thorough, an excellent communicator, and has a great sense of humor. She approaches the topic with an enthusiasm that's very infectious. Her knowledge and experience shows in the ease with which she approaches the problem, analyze it, identify the student's strength and weaknesses and tailor her teaching to the student's need. She does all this in a concise, organize manner that doesn't leave the student confused. We enjoy the time we spent with her.

She would send me information on the topics we were working on, outside of our regular tutoring sessions, which shows how much she cared about my learning. She was very knowledgeable about the subjects (literature and philosophy), but if she was unsure about any aspect of a topic, she would do enough research to ensure my command of the material. My issue was writing essays and papers. She helped me to excel and earn straight As for the Quarter. I would recommend her as a tutor if writing is your challenge with academia.
