I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Physics. I currently am a physics professor at a community college. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a physics researcher for 10+ years for the government and private industry. I am a teacher because I love to help students learn. There is no better experience than seeing the light bulb goes on in a student.
