Carolyn R. from Bronx, NY My daughter stated she has no problem with the tutoring however Ms Gilant seem to have a problem with her scheduling. I spoke with her 2 days after my daughter tutoring and did confirm my daughter would continue tutoring, but we had a discussion on having my daughter 4 hours which I was questioning about 2 hours. I did tell her I would let her know if I can afford 2 or 4 hours. Ms Gilant called back and leave a text to confirm for Wednesday next thing I know she was calling me to tell me I have to choose another tutor, because she already gave that time to someone else. My daughter needs help to pass her regents but I cannot have her deal with someone who is so disorganized with her scheduling.

Within the month's time of having her tutor my son, she started off late to tutor sessions due to traveling issues and then scheduling problems arose. Within a month, our scheduled appointment's times and locations were changed several times making it very inconvenient and frustrating. Also, as expressed initially, my desire was to have one on one tutoring for my son. On one occasion, there were five or more children scheduled within the time my son was receiving tutoring which was disturbing to me. Consequently, I felt my child was not getting the appropriate attention and we had to discontinue her services. Overall, I don't know what kind of impact she would have made as a tutor for my son.
