While I am capable of effectively tutoring any subject, I specialize in k-12 math and science. I have found that most students struggle with material because they have difficulty relating to the material. I seek to not just explain the material to the student, but to do so in a manner that relates the student to their work. In doing so it is much more likely that the student will be able to develop an understanding of the concepts rather than trying to remember seemingly random information.
