Teaching others music education is my passion! Each lesson is tailored to the individual student based on his/her age, skill level, and musical interests. Students usually begin with a common course book such as Alfred or Faber series including studies in the following areas: Repertoire, Technic, Scales, Chords, Arpeggios, Theory, & Duets.
I took private lessons from age 5 through 18 and four years of college lessons from Dr. Suzanne Torkelson at Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. I studied college level courses in piano literature, piano theory, and piano pedagogy and have over 10 years of teaching experience.
