I have had a life long love of math and science and have been fortunate to be able to apply my math skills in my engineering career. For 15 years I have been mentoring the Future Scientists and Engineering program at a Mission Viejo school. This program challenges students to apply basic math and science skills to solve simple real world problems. It is encouraging to see students take an interest in math and science and many have pursued engineering careers.
