He had never had Spanish but the other students had already completed several years of classroom study. After five months of twice weekly lessons with Sarah, he had caught up and pulled to the upper quartile of the class. Sarah's approach was very creative and effective. For instance, he was very interested in an Xbox game so Sarah developed a vocabulary for the (somewhat unusual) words involved in the game and then played the game with him in Spanish. That was very effective at engaging him. We have the highest regard for Sarah's ability as a tutor.
