My ASL experience started in High School when I advanced through four levels in three years. I became very active in the Deaf Community and started interpreting at the High School level about two years after I graduated HS. I have continued to work off and on interpreting and then moved into an ASL teaching position at the high school level for about two years under a temporary teaching certificate.
