Tina J. from Rowlett, TX Pam saw my son's learning needs and writing blocks in 15 minutes of sitting down with him. Fortunately, she recognized it, was familiar with it, and had a plan to work on it. They hit it off immediately. He is fully engaged every minute he spends with her and has fun discussing what he has read. And then can actually write something about it (types it really) given her patient guidance. Today he tried to hit the 'snooze' button when the alarm went off signaling the end of the session. AND!, rather than just leave, she stayed until he felt they had completed what they were working on. He knows he matters to her. She listens, encourages and responds. We've never used a tutor before and were intimidated about finding someone who could keep my son interested (there's no Wii stamped on her forehead) and teach him to write a real paragraph or eventually a paper, be worthy of the expense, and not run away in frustration. I'm mom; I want it all for my son. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised?! We are very blessed to find Pam and look forward to the school year instead of fearing the first English Writing assignment. We all feel we have made the right choice!

Brenda P. from Wylie, TX When I first told my boys I had signed them up for tutoring sessions, they each immediately gave me reasons for why they would refuse to attend. However, after having met Pam and spent just one session with her, they have changed their minds and now look forward to their time with Pam. Their willingness to open up and discuss areas where they are struggling and need help, is due in no small part to Pam's ability to put them at ease, and to create a safe environment where they can just focus on learning. We have four sessions under our belt, and remain very happy we found Pam!

Lalanii J. from Rockwall, TX I was very grateful to Pam for going to my daughter's school and meeting with her history teacher to determine what needed to be done so that my daughter could be a successful student. Pam has worked diligently with my daughter to help her transition her learning style from Montessori to public school. As a result, my daughter's grades have improved tremendously, as well as, her confidence. I am not disappointed in her services and look forward to working with her the remainder of the school year.

Libby D. from Rockwall, TX Pam helped our daughter write a paper that counts as a major grade. Pam is very enthusiastic about writing and has a fun personality. I can see that my daughter enjoys working with her and it works well with my daughter's learning style. 3/20/13- Pam is working with my kids on their writing skills and they are responding to her teaching. Pam is up beat and positive and my kids respond to that.

Gwen V. from Rowlett, TX Pam is excellent! She is energetic and makes learning fun for a first grader. I'm amazed at how much she accomplishes in an hour. She uses various methods to teach and has given us helpful advice on things we can do to help. Our granddaughter looks forward to working with her and asked if she couldn't go more often.

Emily B. from Royse City, TX Pam is a wonderful teacher. She really listens to my son and his interests. I am amazed with how well my son responded to Pam's ideas of teaching concepts. Pam understood my son's needs and went above and beyond to see that he had every opportunity to succeed. My son is now making straight A's and is now in the correct reading program at his school.
