After years of working as an Organic Chemist and Researcher at the University of Southern California, I recently relocated to Santa Monica to become the Science Content Developer at an education/tech company in the area. When we opened the door and Micheal was a college type guy and I did know he was an expert at geometry: math but also the guitar! I could tell he knew his stuff right away and was really good at explaining to me the whys not just how to do the problems, and made me explain back to him how I got to my answer. He was really patient with me and even gave me tips on how to ace my test on Wed.! I liked that he wasn't a math nerd but a cool guy too, he even hung out after and I played my guitar and he played it too! Even pretty good on guitar in addition to math!
