While still in college, I spent one summer working in Mexico City, and another summer attending the University of Madrid, Spain. Upon graduation, I worked at the Spanish National Tourist Office in Toronto, Ontario. I taught Spanish in the Bloomfield Hills School District, in Michigan, for 36 years.
