In New York, parents looking for care assistance, like those in many other states throughout the country, can always look to a local Head Start program. Families seeking help paying for care services can also apply for help paying for child care through the Division of Child Care Services. Those already receiving Temporary Assistance through the state of New York, are already guaranteed financial assistance with child care. All help with financial assistance depends on income, family size, residency and your child’s age. To learn more and find out if you’re eligible, visit the Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies.
