GREETINGS!! My name is Alexander Scott and I live in the Southside Slopes with my two pups, Saint & Beau!! These two keep me VERY ACTIVE as we spend a couple of hours each day exploring the hills in our neighborhood!! I am an EXTREMELY high-energy individual and love watching children GROW, LEARN, & EXPLORE the world. I have a UNIQUE way of meeting children AT THEIR LEVEL by ACCEPTING their awesome personalities and ENGAGING with them in ways that will ALLOW them to be themselves TRULY!! I have recently started my own business and I now work from home, so I thought that this would be an AWESOME way to add a NEW stream of income (my goal is 7) while doing something I love!! FUN FACT: I was homeschooled my ENTIRE life!! Throughout my teenage years I was everyone’s favorite babysitter from family, friends, AND neighbors!! I’d often be out of my house for a week at a time BOUNCING from family to family!! I was there to help the parents accomplish tasks, help the children with their schoolwork, and run errands. As an adult, I have worked in Restaurant Management focused on Training and Development… I was an active member of a committee that implemented new strategies that allowed our Restaurant to crush previous sales (and we did it in 2020). JUST BEING HONEST: I am TIRED of Restaurant Management and I want to enjoy my newfound freedom of not “having a boss” FOREVER. As I was at the Pittsburgh Zoo today with my friend and her 3-year old & 11-month old it dawned on me how genuinely happy I was hanging out with two kiddos roaming the Zoo in the RAIN!! I would do that once a week for the rest of my life just to see the happiness it brought the children to see the “duckies” (they were Emus). BEFORE YOU GO: I am CURRENTLY (10/29/23) working on completing my Background Check and deciding if I will be paying for this or Care.com first!! I am also going to create a website this weekend for myself that will allow me to share testimonials, clearances, and services!!
