Experience and schooling
-I currently attend wilmington university to earn my elementary education degree with spec ed certification, I then will go on to get my
Masters in special education and severe disabilities.
- I am involved in the
Young professionals club at wilmington university where we connect with alumni and explore career opportunities, while attending webinars and other events to gain experience in our career and make an impact on our professional community.
- I am a paraeducator (paraprofessional) for a public middle school in DE. I primarily work in a special education setting with students that have severe disabilities. My job is to assist them with their adaptive technology, toileting, transferring, walking, eating/ feeding, teaching small groups or individuals based on their educational goals as well as their physical goals. These kids are the reason I went to school to become a special education teacher, they make me smile everyday!
-I have worked as a camp counselor at the ymca for 5 years and counting
-I have taught tumbling classes on Saturdays at the ymca for 4 years and counting
-I have worked kid zone and schools out program at the ymca
-I coach softball and field hockey

Additional services: Meal preparation, Laundry, Light housekeeping, and Crafts.

Rate: $15/hour – $30/hour
