I started working with children as a babysitter in highschool – the ages ranged from 6 months to 10 years old.

After working in customer service for a handful of years, I wanted to change things up. I decided to become a camp counselor, reminiscing on my summers at camp and how fun they were.

It was in this setting that I discovered my love for working with kids – playing and having fun, solving problems, keeping them entertained. Overcoming challenges came naturally, and I decided that this is what I’d like to continue doing.

After obtaining my Bachelors in Psychology, I entered the field at a clinic that served children with behavioral difficulties. This experience taught me so much, and I’ll love and remember those children for the rest of my life.

I like a job that fulfills my need to help others, as well as allows me to be myself and have fun. Working with kids provides all of that and more, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
