Hi y’all

My name is Soraya and I’m a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I’m a double major in psychology and criminology. The majority of my courses/research focus on child development and child protections under the law. I have always had such a great experience working with children that I wanted to pursue an educational career related to it. I have been a babysitter since 2015 and worked for multiple families within my neighborhood/community. I was also a swim instructor and swim coach at Goldfish swim school! Along with that, I’m also a dog sitter and feel very comfortable taking care of pets as well.

Under my supervision, all of your children’s needs will be met. It is important for me to get to know each child and create my babysitting plan based on their interests and general curiosities. I absolutely love reading, writing, coloring, watching movies, learning new recipes, and participating in any outdoor activities with the children I babysit!

Special skills: CPR, AED, and Lifeguard certified.
