I’m originally from the Cleveland area and went to college in Boston. I just moved back to the area and will be starting law school this fall at Case Western. I absolutely love working with kids because even as a recent college grad / young professional starting off in the working world, I feel as though I can still relate to kids in so many ways. In high school, I was a student volunteer in various classrooms at my local elementary school for four years and have been babysitting on the side during my year off while I have been working at a law firm. What sets me apart is that I am very engaging with kids, I empathize with them very well, and I try to find creative ways for them to have fun. I think it’s very important for younger kids to enjoy the moment and have fun with what is around them and rely less on electronics. With kids, I love playing games, making crafts, playing sports, and walking around outside. I try to teach people to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and savor every moment to the fullest. I am also a big pop-culture enthusiast, so I feel as though I can be very engaging and conversational with kids when it comes to the latest pop culture and entertainment trends. I do my best to make sure each kid is happy with what they are doing and to have as much fun as they can.
