I am a young, passionate childcare provider. I graduated with my BA in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2019 from The University of Iowa. Growing up in my family there were always children around and there still are. My grandmother had a life-long career in childcare, where she retired after thirty-five years. I acquired a plethora of knowledge about caring for children from her. I never knew how much of a passion I truly had for children, until my last semester of college where I discovered I wanted to make a career out of it. Post-graduation I hunted for childcare jobs with much skepticism of who would accept me without any childcare experience. I found my happy place in November of 2019 where I have learned an abundance of knowledge about how to educate, plan age-appropriate curriculum, transition into new-aged phases, and positively contribute to the overall development of a child. Throughout the year, in my position I have realize that I would be happier to work and build a relationship with a single-family. I love to have fun and learn with children by doing many different activities. I have experience with children of all ages, but I specialize in childcare for Toddlers, Twos and above. I have and am open to working with infants but I would prefer to be in extremely close communication with the family for various reasons. I am CPR-certified. I have reliable transportation. I am not a smoker.

I believe that the children are the future and Im willing to do whatever it takes to contribute to the development of young minds. The most important thing to know about me is that I respect all families wishes, beliefs, values and traditions.

P.S. I may not be pet-friendly, but I am open to friendly dogs.
