Hello! My name is LaMiyah and I am currently a college student majoring in political science, on the pre-law route. I recently started babysitting at 16 years old. Being the only child, I always longed for a sibling, yes I had cousins, but there’s nothing like having a sibling to look after. Babysitting allowed me to really develop those bonds with children and make a good lasting impact on them as they evolve. Not only have I been a babysitter for 3 years, but I have also recently joined Jumpstart in 2022. Jumpstart’s mission is to teach language arts to Pre-K students in underprivileged communities. Being a part of this program has allowed me to really enhance many children’s lives and help them improve in school tremendously. My goal is to help children succeed in education.
