I have around 5 years of babysitting experience. I found my love of children when my little siblings were born about 7 years ago. Since then Ive taken on outside jobs for two different families, with occasional jobs from others. One family consisted of 3 boys from the ages of 1, 5 and 10. The other family was one boy and one girl ages 2 and 5. From those experiences I learned the importance of recognizing and considering every childs differences and ways I could help. Taking the time to let the kids be hands on with simple tasks is vital.I find reading, playing and baking helps them to stay interactive. Ive also learned patience and learning to work with their emotions is key to having a good relationship with the kids. I love helping people and intend on becoming a nurse. In addition I previously worked at St.Joseph hospital as a TA in the blood bank.
