Ananiya J.

My name is Ananiya (Uh-nah-knee-yuh), but most people call me Nani (Nah-knee). I am currently a senior at West Chester University majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish. I love reading (my most recent read was “Eat, Pray, Love”, which I loved), soccer, family, and traveling (my most recent trip was to Germany!). Coming from a huge family, I naturally have a lot of experience with children: I first became an aunt at 10 years old and I now have 8 nieces and 2 nephews, and I have been the go-to babysitter for my siblings since I was 13. More professionally, I’ve worked at Kumon Learning Center and have done some sporadic camp counseling. I am also currently a seasonal teacher at Great Start Learning Academy in Glassboro, New Jersey; and I am a lead soccer coach for Soccer Shots of Southeastern, PA. I love being a sitter and looking after kids because it’s something that comes naturally to me!
