I started babysitting when I was 12 after taking a babysitting course, mainly for the children of neighbors and my mother’s friends. I attended an overnight camp as a child and started working there in 2021. I worked as a head counselor for mostly 13-15-year-old girls for 3 summers while running the camp’s arts and crafts and photography programs. Last summer, I was in charge of the month-long Leadership training program for 15-year-olds. Camp has given me experience with a wide range of ages (8-16) and personalities. I have been certified in CPR and First Aid multiple times in the past, though my certifications have since expired. I have extensive experience managing groups, interpersonal conflicts, individual emotions, and menial day-to-day tasks. In addition, I taught swim lessons at my university, specializing in introductory lessons for toddlers and young elementary students. I find joy and purpose working with kids of all ages!
