I love being a sitter because working with children has always been a meaningful and rewarding experience for me. Growing up, I sort of played a role in raising my younger siblings, as my parents were often busy. This gave me a deep understanding of how to care for and connect with children. I find joy in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive, and I take pride in being someone they can trust and look up to. I have over five years of hands-on experience working with children. I was a Sunday School teacher for three years, where I organized lessons, supervised activities, and guided children in developing their values and creativity. Additionally, I worked as a babysitter for two years during middle and high school, providing attentive care for children of various ages. These roles helped me gain invaluable insights into child development, communication, and problem-solving. My experience has equipped me with strong skills in patience, adaptability, and communication, which are essential for childcare. I am highly organized and excel at planning engaging activities to keep children entertained and stimulated. My background as a Sunday School teacher also means I am comfortable managing groups of children, maintaining structure, and fostering positive behavior.
