I have a long and expansive history with childcare. Before moving to college, I previously worked in a daycare, freelance babysat, and an afterschool program. I love getting to meet learn about the dynamics of new people. My approach to childcare is based in mutual respect and avoiding patronizing or isolating the children. It is in my belief that everyone is deserving of consideration and patience, including children.
I am a highly social people person, and I would have no trouble keeping up with the high energy of an environment, while maintaining peace and structure.
I am a college student at Sarah Lawrence with a focus in writing. Needless to say, academia is incredibly important to me, and I would love to help with homework or additional tutoring, as that is also apart of my work experience.
