I’m currently in grad school working towards a Master in Social Work. Outside of my classes, I love working with children and experiencing the world through their creativity and curiosity. I have many years of experience working with kids in different capacities (nannying, substitute teaching, coaching, etc.). This past summer I helped teach children (ages 3-5) at an outdoor school at Prospect Park. Through an inquiry- and play-based style of teaching, I worked to foster a positive environment that allowed the students to be immersed in the present moment and learn from their natural surroundings. This role provided me with ample experience of assisting kids to navigate inter-personal interactions and learn skills for self-regulation. My goal as a childcare professional is to create a safe environment where kids can feel comfortable to express themselves, process their emotions, and build their sense of confidence. In general, I value strong communication, and I would maintain consistent and regular communication so that you know your child(ren) are safe and cared for.

Rate: $24/hour – $27/hour
