I’m a recent graduate of Pitt, currently working as a Specialist in Pharmaceutical Marketing, and I recently moved to Brooklyn to fulfill my dreams of living in the city!

Why do I love working with children?

I find a lot of joy in teaching and guiding children through their early years. Seeing them grasp new concepts and skills, and knowing that I played a role in that, is incredibly fulfilling!

Additionally, I find children very gratifying to be around, as they often bring out my own sense of creativity and sense of fun. Their constant energy and affinity for curiosity is something I love to be around!

While I don’t have much professional experience handling children in the babysitting role, I used to be a summer camp counselor for large groups of kids between the ages of 7 and 18!

I’ve also watched over a handful of kids in the middle school ages and up just as favors for family and friends.

As a caregiver, I’d view myself as a positive role model for children. I’d approach this role by leading by example, promoting kindness, respect, and responsibility in all of my actions!

I also have a ton of empathy for kids, which, I believe, helps me understand and connect with them on a deeper level. I get the necessity of constantly listening to their needs, validating their feelings, and fostering a sense of trust and security.
