Hi, my name is Amy! I am currently a sophomore Macaulay Honors scholar at Baruch College majoring in Marketing Management. In the past, I’ve had many experiences with children. Last summer, I had the opportunity of being a summer counselor. Here, it was my responsibility to engage elementary-aged children in activities such as dance, stem, and story time. In addition, I helped facilitate arts and craft projects for class full of 30 students and assisted teachers in doe academic instructions. During my freshman year of college, I was an academic tutor who taught english, math, and writing to multiple small groups of 3-4 elementary students on a weekly basis. I had to effectively communicate with parents/guardians and provide weekly student reports. I believe that my past experiences with children makes me a qualified babysitter.
