As a former museum educator, encouraging children to be creative and authentic, brings joy to me. With 5+ years of experience working in arts education as an admin, advocate, mentor and artist in the Midwest, Ive had many experiences that allow me to navigate childcare professionally and openly. If your children love hands-on projects or being in nature, consider me as your next sitter! Im diplomatic, calm and can pivot in any situation. I’m confident that safety and comfort are top priorities when looking after your little ones.

Im an artist in residence, who works in fibers, printmaking and writing in Brooklyn. New York is an amazing city with lots to do so in my downtime, I frequent the green space available to restore and recalibrate. Having a moment of peace brings me back to center, the Im ready to hit the pavement again. I also love reading, fashion, history, and learning about how things work. My motto is to stay curious because theres always something to be learned.

I’m aiming for weekday care but can be flexible. After-school and some weekends are a plus! I’m happy to introduce children to new experiences such as museums, farmer’s markets, parks and age-appropriate events. It’s important to me that children are given the power of choice and independence. I intend to model that after the Montessori education, which is why I stress this when working with children. With me as their sitter, I’ll encourage their growth in this area but am open to working with you as parents if specific needs must be addressed, such as neurodiversity and/or other physical limitations that need extra time and patience. I’m not certified in those areas but I’ve worked with students in the past who lived with disabilities and elders too.
