Hi!!! I’m Ayah, a rising senior at Columbia University with 5 years of babysitting experience. A little about my babysitting experience: I have been babysitting since high school and all throughout college. I mainly babysat for neighbors and family friends in high school, that is where I gained experience with children from the ages of 3 years old to 12 years old. As of recent, I have been babysitting newborns (5 months and older), and it has been a wonderful experience. I absolutely adore being able to care for children. I have learned that every child is different, and so are the parents— I learn of their needs/wants and apply it to the time I spend with them. In the past, I have been more than happy to do light housekeeping (especially cleaning after the kids I am caring for), some meal prep of course, tutoring and homework help, and I am more than willing to do pick up/drop off as necessary. If the parents would like and depending on their age, I would take them to the park and cultural outings to museums or events. If not, we can always do fun crafts/activities at home— which, I personally really enjoy to do myself! Now, a little about myself: I was born and raised in Los Angeles, though I have been attending university in New York for the past 3 years, I am studying Political Science and Sustainable Development. I enjoy reading, crochet, photography, and trying new foods! I am living in New York over the summer starting in July before beginning my last year of school so I’m available anytime to care for your little ones. I love creating a fun, nurturing environment with engaging activities. If you’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic babysitter, I’d be thrilled to help out!
