I’m a trans male artist with two years of professional teaching experience and eleven years of art training, as well as seven years of tutoring experience. My motto is that everything, big or small, can be wondrous and joyful, and the people who embrace and share this opinion most are kids. I love getting to enhance that belief and work with the creativity of kids. I’ve also got a lot of cooking experience and cleaning experience.
Having experience teaching visual arts means that if your kids are creative, they’ll have a sitter who can teach them to use everyday materials to do amazing things. Having a trans male babysitter means kids struggling with gender identity or kids who feel excluded will have a strong role model who can show them ways of comfort and expression that they might not find otherwise. Additionally, I have it on good authority that I’m “nice and very fun and also my favorite teacher.”
