My name is Grace and I am a rising junior at Kenyon College. I have on and off worked as a babysitter since I was in high school, mostly ages 5-8. I am a very outgoing and upbeat person who is always up for an adventure. I am a pretty good cook and love to read and make art. I also have a very flexible schedule since I am on summer break and I am able to stay late into the night if needed.
I used to volunteer at a school on the Upper East Side and that’s where I fell in love with working with kids. It taught me to be patient and attentive and most importantly to think more like a kid (which is important when hanging out and talking to them).
In regards to my previous babysitting experience, I was mostly a night babysitter, getting the kids ready for bed, cooking food, and doing activities around the house. Occasionally we would go on adventures to the park and museums if I had to come in more towards the early afternoon.
