Hello! Thanks for viewing my profile. I am particularly interested in working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

I grew up with a brother with an intellectual disability. From a young age, I learned that the way he and I communicate is special and unique to our own equation. Growing up with him, he taught me about sensitivity, flexibility, patience, boundaries and reliability. Thinking of him, I am motivated to work with others who have similar intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For the past year I have worked for a nonprofit agency as a Community Habilitation Specialist. I supported the individual I worked with in counseling, training in activities of daily living, behavior management, and community integration.

Rate: $20/hour – $30/hour
