I graduated a year ago from University College Dublin in Ireland where Id studied business for 4 years. I started as a babysitter when I was in high school at around 15 years old. I worked with many families all over my town and for kids of all ages. And when I was old enough, I drove the children to camp, appointments, after school activities, etc. In more recent years I have had more long term babysitting/nannying gigs. I worked as a live in nanny for 3 months in San Francisco and looked after a 10 month old. His parents both worked from home 9 – 5 but it was a small house so we spent a lot of time doing outdoor activities or fun things in the city. The next summer I was a nanny for a 4 month old baby girl and her 3 year old sister in my hometown. As I lived only 10 minutes down the road, I arrived every day Mon – Fri at 9 am and usually left around 6, but sometimes stayed longer if her parents needed me to. Since I have graduated college and started working (part-time) I have been doing more babysitting and less nannying. I am looking forward to putting my childcare skills to use and earn some extra cash while I work part-time!

Rate: $25/hour – $30/hour
