Hi there! My name is Katy and I have a natural gift for connecting with kids. As the second-oldest of six children, I have a lifetimes worth of experience in not just caring for children, but teaching, entertaining, laughing with and forming bonds with them. Outside of being a built-in babysitter for my own family, Ive also babysat & nannied for dozens of families over the years, doing everything from casual daytime supervision to overnights & weekends for kiddos of all ages and abilities. I also provide care to my high-need autistic brother, in addition to many years spent as a volunteer and sitter for differently abled children. Ive changed more diapers than I can count, I tell a great bedtime story, and I actually enjoy playing and learning with kidsmaking me a great person for the job!

Ive been employed full-time as a copywriter for the last 5 years, but am looking for more meaningful ways to spend my free time. Some other perks I can offer are being a former lifeguard, receiving CPR & First Aid training many, many times, having the patience and spirit of a former camp counselor, and possessing the expertise of a former tutor and teacher.
