Hello! My name is Lenette, but those close to me call me Lenny! I am a 20 year old college senior set to graduate in December with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

I have a multitude of experience working with children. Starting with my two younger brothers consistently growing up. I also have been a trusted babysitter for other adults in my life. For example my neighbors, family, and family friends children all along the ages of 3 – 14 years old. I especially enjoy babysitting toddlers though because this is a time of both big and small developmental milestones within them from showing greater independence to recognizing themselves in pictures or a mirror, which is so exciting to see! I also should mention I have experience working with teenagers and middle schoolers! I worked at a youth internship program based in East New York for about 3 years, 2 of those years as a supervisor. Where we collectively collaborated to establish a safe space for teenagers to talk about their problems, homework help, mentorship, and to build healthy relationships with their communities and develop skills they would need for real world experiences.

I’m a responsible, friendly, and patient caregiver with experience caring for children of all ages across the board from toddlers to teenagers. I’m first aid and cpr certified, skilled in a variety of activities such as drawing, reading, language, music, and games. I’m comfortable assisting with kid meals, light housework, and homework help if applicable.
