Why do I love working with children?

I love working with children because they bring a unique and refreshing perspective to life. Their curiosity, creativity, and endless energy are truly inspiring. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about being part of their growth and development, helping them learn new things, and watching their confidence blossom.

What experience do I have?

Over the past decade, I’ve gained extensive experience babysitting children of various ages, from infants to school-aged kids. My journey began back in Maryland, where I started babysitting for neighbors and family friends. Since moving to New York, I’ve continued to build my skills and have worked with many wonderful families. I’ve handled everything from daily routines and homework help to planning fun and educational activities. Additionally, I have experience as a summer camp counselor, where I managed groups of children and organized engaging group activities.

I believe in the power of interactive play and hands-on learning, whether its through arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or educational games. Safety is my top priority. Supervision is a cornerstone of my babysitting approach. I understand the importance of constant and attentive supervision to ensure children’s safety and well-being. Whether we are at home, in the backyard, or out on an adventure, I always keep a close watch on the children to prevent accidents and ensure they are safe at all times. My background in both Maryland and New York has given me a diverse perspective and the ability to adapt to different family needs and dynamics. Moreover, my excellent communication skills enable me to connect effectively with both children and parents, ensuring a positive and collaborative experience for everyone.
