Hi there! My name is Lucy, and I am a recent college graduate living in Brooklyn, NY. I went to school upstate and am originally from Manhattan, but I have just returned from the past few months in San Fransisco working at a bookstore and exploring the West Coast.

I am currently looking for work in the literary/arts world, and I plan to go back to school in the next year or two. In the meantime, I am hoping to make some extra money by babysitting, and am eager to get to know families in my community! I have been babysitting since I was 16, so have 6 years of experience. I’ve built strong relationships with families & kids over the years, and would be happy to pass on any references. I also spent time one summer over college full-time nannying (I had a remote internship with a literary magazine and nannied to support myself), so I have experience with holistic care services. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from infants to 14 year olds. I am comfortable spending time with any and all kids, and am very social, kind, patient, responsible, and organized.

I love to read, cook, write, run, and paint. I love doing fun, creative activities with the children I babysit. I would also love to help out with homework/assignments—I majored in Literature with a double minor Hispanic Studies and History, so have a wide range of academic interests and fluency in Spanish.
