I am a recent Psychology (BA) graduate and nanny with seven years of experience working with kids ranging from newborns (one-month-old) to thirteen years old. I’ve studied childhood development in school and enjoy catering my work to the needs of the family and children I’m watching. I have excellent communication skills and am highly reliable and timely; I can cook meals and help clean/ organize your home. Right now, I work for a family where I pick up the children from school (Monday through Thursday) and take them to their daily activities via the subway or on foot. I strongly believe in minimizing screen time for children. To do so, I come up with other mentally and physically stimulating activities like choreographing dances, crocheting, making jewelry or other arts and crafts, reading, going to parks or on walks, playing imaginary, etc. Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross association for children and adults (valid through 1/19/2024).
