My name is Nsira Sylla, and I am a 20-year-old student at Pace University, majoring in Health Science with a Pre-Nursing focus. Im turning 21 in December and have dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse. I am deeply passionate about caring for children and creating environments where they feel safe, supported, and can thrive.

I have 3 years of experience babysitting my cousins, starting at the age of 16, where I took on many responsibilities from meal preparation to engaging them in fun and educational activities. Growing up as the oldest of six siblings, I also played a significant role in raising my younger sisters, which strengthened my ability to multitask and manage the needs of children at different developmental stages.

In addition to my family caregiving experience, I have been working part time as a Play Facilitator at the Brooklyn Childrens Museum for the past 2 years. In this role, I ensure that children play safely, guiding them through interactive exhibits, while also ensuring that families feel comfortable and have a pleasant experience during their visit. This job has given me a unique skill set in child supervision, understanding child behavior in group settings, and addressing the needs of diverse families, which translates directly to child care. My role also requires me to keep a close eye on safety, manage large groups of children, and create a fun yet secure environmentkey skills in babysitting.

With my background in health science and experience working closely with children in various capacities, I am well-prepared to offer excellent care, safety, and engaging experiences for the children I babysit. I am ready to start immediately and am confident that my experience makes me a strong candidate for the position.
